A little bit about Miss Min
|

|
My name is Nicole Min and this is my seventh year teaching and my seventh year with ISD!
I graduated from Western Washington University with my BA.E in Education, in Psychology, with an emphasis in child development, and have my Masters of Education in Learning and Technology through Western Governors University.
I love going to concerts, golfing, reading, hiking, traveling, spending time outdoors, and being with family! I absolutely love all kinds of flowers (my mom was a wedding florist) and love raising my houseplants! :) When I am not in the classroom, you can probably find me in South Korea, the Bay Area, Alaska, or camping somewhere in the mountains or along water.
I cannot wait to see all that we do and achieve this year! :)
Go Otters!

Homework
Your student works very hard in school all day, so homework is to simply read every day, for at least 20 minutes.
As we are learning to read, we are also fostering a love for reading and learning. As parents, you are a vital part of continuing the expansion of that love of reading! Also, what kiddos doesn't love snuggling with a book and one of their favorite people? :)
Please find a way to fit reading time into your daily routine. Many families work it into bedtime routines! :) Please let me know if you need ideas for books to read or help with a plan to fit reading into your busy schedule.
I am happy to talk about reading and books any time! :)
